One of the most friendly staff ever, I met Cheenou who was one of a chef at the back. Right when I got seated at the bar he greeted me hello with his amazing smile and said welcome in. I couldn't believe with his bright positive attitude it changed my whole mood just because I had an bad day. It made me felt so welcome. Although Cheenou was busy doing his orders, he was able to communicate with his customers along with me and asked how my day was. I really appreciate his kindness and great customer service because sometimes asking how a person's day is, it can be so meaningful. He was full of energy and his personality was definitely a plus to why I gave this restaurant a five star! He made my day so much better by greeting and talking to me! It just show how much he care for his customers and want them to leave with a big happy face. He is such a huge asset to the restaurant! We need more workers like him. And the food was amazing! I will definitely be back soon!

Phenomenal service and very fresh, well cooked food. We enjoyed the various rolls and the chicken teriyaki was moist and delicious. I hope we can come again soon!

This place has gone bad. it was delicious a while back but now I think the chefs have changed. I would not recommend this place.

Be careful... tonight's fish was very questionable. Not fresh at all. Hoping we don't get sick tomorrow. Service is great, but if the quality of fish is poor, it doesn't matter how quickly you get your meal.

This restaurant is Awesome Blossom!!! AMAZING does not do it justice in this case! WAAAAAY better than Mikuni's, my opinion! The staff is Super friendly as well as Super professional! Guest service is freaking amazing!!! Food is amazing as well!!! I absolutely love their Salmon Skin Salad!!! To die for!! Been to other restaurants for Salmon Skin Salad and absolutely NONE were comparable to Zakuro.

Our experience here was fantastic. Upon arriving with our two children and dog, the staff was very accommodating. Cleaning and prepping a spot on the patio for us without requesting. The food was brought to us correct and quick and the toddler chopsticks were brought out without asking as well. Our waitress Kim checked on is outside frequently and made sure we were well taken care of. At the end of our meal she brought us a to go menu when she learned this was our first time and a lunch punch card so that we can earn savings when we come back. To to it off she even offered to bring us out some of the complementary ice cream even though that is normally served at dinner. 10\10 would come again and bring people with us.

Best sushi rolls in town...

The Ramen and Udon were both so bland it was almost unpalatable. Service was on the verge of being bad enough to complain to the manager about. Our appatizer came out AFTER all the other food, and we sent the sea steak back because it had a grainy texture and foul after taste. Definitely not going back.

Excellent as always & food is amazing

Not what I expected, it's a typical Americanized Japanese restaurant. Service was ok, the servers are not educated on Japanese cuisine. I asked for curry they said they didn't service it "but there used to be an Indian oven near by"... With that being said there are different types of curries in Asia and I happen to like Japanese curry. I would give the place 5 Stars if it was added to the menu... Needs variety...oh I had their signature dish...Zakuro spaghetti...I thought it was an over priced Udon seafood noodle soup... The noodles were in a bland sauce could use some work and so was my miso soup or something was wrong with my taste buds. However, if you are looking for fresh sushi other than Safeway's or WinCo's sushi then this place is for you

Zakuro NEVER disappoints. The first time we went, we were blown away by the unique sauces and flavors of these sushi rolls. Instant fans. The variety of rolls is truly impressive, too. You want cream cheese inside? Check. You want it deep fried or flaming? Check. Want to watch it being built before your eyes? No problem. When we invite friends who don't like sushi, there are excellent options like teriyaki chicken and rice. We've been going for years, and it's a family favorite for birthdays and anniversaries, too. Next time I'll remember to snap some pictures to share. The food is always beautifully presented... But above all, delicious, and the waiters and owners are super friendly and remember us. Top of my list for a special lunch or dinner out, any time.

Been coming here since we moved to Lincoln. This place is top notch. Great sushi, great staff especially Peter. Sushi is fresh and they have a great rewards program. Best sushi around!

Interesting little sushi joint in Lincoln. Not a big fan of the decor but everyone is friendly and the service was fairly quick. I wasn’t a big fan of the menu options but the overall execution of the food was pretty good. I would go back again.

Really enjoyed this place! Wide selection of food at an affordable price point and a very pleasant atmosphere. You can definitely tell there is pride of ownership here. Did not care for the ramen, but the sushi was fresh and delicious and the dessert was yummy as well. No heaitations about coming back here again in the future!

Went for our first time a couple months ago. The food was great and the service was even better. We Will be going back.

This is our favorite sushi restaurant. My husband and I always get the Oceans 11 roll, and our young kids love their rice & teriyaki chicken bowl. The BBQ tuna is also a favorite.

I really enjoy their dishes and customer service, awesome location close to my residence. The workers are always very kind. Highly recommended.

Much improved service since our last visit. Food was delicious! However, could not connect to their wifi. Browser page wanted us to sign in but no boxes or area to sign in or accept terms and conditions.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Seated immediately. The food was excellent and presented well. The place was very clean. I was extremely impressed and would have given them 5 stars except for the fact that it is was so steaming hot inside. It was predicted that it would hit 100 and it did, I don't know if they weren't prepared or didn't care. Even so, I will definitely go back but I will mind the weather when I do.

Go there often, last two times I have been disappointed in the cuts of tuna sashimi....but I have called them over and they replaced the slices with fresher cuts. So this was great on their part. They have been very attentive and the place was bombing with customers tonight. High recommend

I had a superb at this restaurant. We liked the fantastic vibes and the meals. The staff members were very attentive. I’m content we finally decided to try this restaurant.

VERY non-authentic. Some of the sushi rolls are ridiculously big. Personally I think this is a problem because sushi rolls are traditionally eaten in one bite. This was not the case when I ordered the King Kong roll. In spite of this, I do appreciate that the menu features other dishes not normally served by other Japanese restaurants.

The food had way too much sauce. The tea pot was filthy, but replaced after pointing it out. The server attended to his cellphone more than the customers.

This place was disgusting. I've eaten sushi at at least a dozen different sushi restaurants in the area, and this place was by far the worst of them all. We paid Mikunis prices for sauce was underwhelming and fish that was of low quality. They should of used more sauce to disguise it's quality like most low end sushi places do. The wasabi is watered down, I ate a quarter sized amount of it, and barely felt anything. This is usually a good sign that the owners are cheap, and considering how overpriced everything is there that's just unacceptable. Save your money and go to Mikunis or Arigatous.

Service was excellent. Our waiter had the perfect balance of always being there to refill water or answer a question, but not so often that it felt like our meal was being interrupted.They have a giant selection of rolls and a separate full menu for other entrees. Rolls were quite reasonably priced with most in the $10 range with a few under $7 and a few at about $15. Dinner for 5 ended up running $110 and they gave us all complimentary green tea ice cream.We'll definitely be back. Maybe tomorrow :).

If you're like my family, we base the quality of a Japanese restaurant on two very basic things, stramed rice and miso soup. And they both get 👍👍. Add that to a very good selection of foods including bento boxes, donburi, ramen, udon, and sushi and you're sure to find something you like. If I have to be critical of anything, I prefer a little less rice in a spicy tuna role, but otherwise it's a great restaurant.Service was excellent and staff are very friendly. Definitely going back.

The sushi was excellent quality and the customer service was extraordinary - attentive, efficient, nice and so polite. I highly recommend Zakuro and will be back for more.

This place is a Lincoln gem. We always enjoy the food. Peter was our waiter, and he worked with us to provide an overall outstanding culinary experience. We had sashimi, oysters, a custom roll (shown here), and more oysters. I highly recommend you stop in for the BEST sushi in Lincoln.
